L. Irene Compadre, PLA ASLA
Irene is the Founding Principal & Design Director of Arbolope Studio. With a focus on improving ecological resilience, creating design legibility, and developing community; Irene consistently delivers projects that blend programmatic requirements, site specificity, environmental stewardship and playful experimentation to create unique, healthy and high-quality landscapes that help bring people together and exceed client expectations. With a background in music composition, sculpture, and community arts, Irene takes a purposefully multidisciplinary approach to each project–using material details and broad gestures alike as opportunities to connect people to place, to purpose, and to each other.
